DRAFTING YOUR JOURNEY
Upon reaching a closed door in Mt. Holly, you decide what room appears behind it and each decision shapes your path as you navigate through the manor. Every door can reveal new and exciting chambers that contain their own unique challenges and secrets. But be careful how you draft, for each day the manor’s floor plan resets and the rooms you saw today may not be the same rooms you see tomorrow.

Story
AI-assisted summaryYou play as Simon P. Jones, who has inherited Mt. Holly Estate from his late great-uncle, Herbert S. Sinclair. The will sets one condition: find a hidden forty-sixth room inside the mansion before the inheritance is truly yours. The house does not stay still. Each morning its layout is rebuilt, and you choose which chamber appears beyond every closed door by drafting from a small set of floor plans. Keys, gems, coins, and tools found along the way help you push farther, but steps are limited and almost everything you carry is lost when night falls. As you search for Room 46, notes and clues also point toward older mysteries tied to the manor, including the vanishing of a local writer of children's books.
Full story (spoilers)
Simon P. Jones arrives at Mt. Holly and camps outside. The estate lies in Fenn Aries, one of many city-states on Mora, a world like Earth except that airships are ordinary transport and drafting can summon or dissolve rooms. An uncensored history book explains that peaceful Orinda Aries fell when nobles from Fenn and Oris, opposed to King Desilets III's generosity toward commoners, staged the Fennsurrection. After the War of Ruin, unpopular Desilets IV went into exile. General Teskin imposed authoritarian rule as Fenn Aries and changed the sigil from black to red. Those events frame the disappearance of children's writer Marion Marigold, Simon's mother Mary Jones. After the government censored The Red Prince—his childhood book about loving red, whose ending of seeing blue sky was read as political—she joined Children of Black Water. She stole the ruby crown in a major heist, then fled, hoping Simon would discover the clues. Sinclair was an accomplice and was later blackmailed by gardener Denny Revane with letters stolen from Room 46. Getting to the antechamber of the 46th room lets Simon reach the estate's inner sanctum, which holds traces of miners who happened on ancient Castle Orindia, once the capitol of Orinda Aries. Room 46 holds the crown, its rubies swapped for sapphires, called the Crown of the Blueprints. Using that crown and other items, Simon drafts the throne room, takes the old throne, and becomes the Blue Prince. Afterward he can uncover the secret will of manor designer Baroness Auravei.
