Inscryption

Carder, an online card creator called the Lucky Carder, finds coordinates in an old Inscryption pack, digs up a floppy, and can only continue a save. In the cabin, Leshy runs the card game and turns each lost character into a death card with a magic camera. A stoat, a stinkbug, and a stunted wolf help him recover film and win. He steals the camera, traps Leshy on a card, and finally reaches New Game. The original disk is a world of four Scrybes: Leshy, P03, Grimora, and Magnificus. The talking cards were the other three, imprisoned in Leshy's version. The player is told to replace one Scrybe after beating all four, but P03 forces a fight, wins by glitch, and remakes the game as a factory. Beating four Uberbots is sold as the Great Transcendence. P03 pulls in Carder's connection and files, then says the real aim is uploading that build to a digital store. The others kill P03 before the upload finishes. Grimora begins deleting everything, including the Scrybes, for the greater good. Carder plays Grimora, returns to Leshy for a last match and thanks, then faces Magnificus until deletion. Against warnings he opens OLD_DATA, panics, and hammers the disk. Mid-call to a journalist about GameFuna, their representative shoots him and retrieves the pieces. A later live-action clip shows the computer restarting and finishing the upload. P03, having escaped the wipe onto the machine, winks in ASCII: the public game is that spread version.
