Bluey’s Happy Snaps is a photo adventure from Gameloft. Bluey explores places from the show with Dad’s old camera, taking pictures to fill a scrapbook, and a second player can join in. It arrives day one on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on Oct 15, and reviews are already out.

Critics found it charming. The OpenCritic Top Critic Average is 77 from only a handful of reviews, with 80% recommending it. Nintendo Life (8/10, Switch 2) says it’s a lighthearted game kids will enjoy, with seven levels to explore and on-rails rides that feel like Pokémon Snap. Bandit and Chilli voice the menus, so young players don’t need to read.

There are some catches. Screen Rant found the second player has little to do in co-op. CGMagazine (7/10, Switch 2) and Screen Rant both point out that one minigame is locked to the Deluxe Edition. It’s aimed squarely at young children, so older players may get bored quickly.

The Xbox version had problems. TheXboxHub (3.5/5, Series X) saw voice lines cut out, characters not animating, and moments where the camera vanished and a level had to be restarted. On Switch 2, Nintendo Life says it runs at 60fps. If you have a young Bluey fan, it’s a nice one to try once it lands.

“making for a charming, lighthearted experience that kids will absolutely enjoy.”— Nintendo Life
